Project Activities
Apex Germanium-Gallium project (Utah, USA)
Following the staking of an additional 51 unpatented lode mining claims reported in the prior
Quarter, which expanded the Apex Project landholding by approximately 40% to 186 claims
covering approximately 3,728 acres (15.09 km²), and secured the Apex East block of
prospective ground immediately adjacent to the historic high-grade Apex Mine, the Company
advanced target definition across the enlarged tenure during the Quarter.
Figure 1: Location of the Apex claim blocks.
Battery Age completed a high-resolution satellite-based remote sensing and structural
interpretation study over its Apex Germanium-Gallium Project, covering the North, East and
South tenements in Washington County, Utah, USA. The survey, interpreted by Brisbane
based remote sensing consultancy Geo Spectra Pty Ltd, integrated newly-acquired
WorldView-3 satellite imagery (0.31 m panchromatic; 1.24 m VNIR) with publicly available

ASTER and Sentinel-2A multispectral data and a LiDAR-derived Digital Elevation Model,
across approximately 65 km² of detailed coverage within a broader ~1,500 km² regional study
area.
Integration of mineral alteration, structural and geological datasets generated 14 first-priority
and 7 second-priority targets across the three Apex tenements. Target generation focused on
discrete iron oxide and goethite anomalies, clay-carbonate-silica alteration responses, and
northwest- and northeast-trending fault corridors and their intersections with north-south
striking faults, interpreted as potential structural controls on carbonate-hosted polymetallic (Cu-
Pb-Zn-Ga-Ge) mineralisation. Several priority targets occur in geological and structural
settings considered analogous to the historic high-grade Apex Mine, a past-producing
carbonate-hosted germanium-gallium-copper operation recently acquired by NASDAQ-listed
Blue Moon Metals.

ASX Announcement

No new sampling, drilling or assay results were reported during the Quarter in respect of the
Apex Project; the remote sensing study represents a geological interpretation only, with
identified targets requiring validation through field mapping, sampling and, where appropriate,
drilling.
Cautionary Statement - This announcement reports the results of remote sensing analysis and
target generation only. The geological, alteration and structural interpretations described in this
announcement are derived from satellite imagery and digital elevation model datasets and
represent geological interpretations only. The identified targets require validation through field
mapping, sampling and, where appropriate, drilling. There is no certainty that further
exploration will result in the discovery of mineralisation. The Company notes that mineralisation
at the historic Apex Mine is not necessarily indicative of mineralisation on the Company's
surrounding tenements. The remote sensing study has identified target areas for follow-up
exploration only and no mineralisation has been discovered or confirmed by the Company.
Bleiberg Zinc-Lead-Germanium Project (Carinthia, Austria)
During the Quarter, the Company planned and submitted additional drilling permit applications
to the Austrian authorities for drill holes targeting potential mineralisation immediately west of
the historic Bleiberg operation. The historical Bleiberg mine produced approximately 174
tonnes of germanium over its historical operating life, ranking it as the world's sixth-largest
germanium producer at the time of its closure in 19931
. With germanium designated a critical
raw material by the European Union and refined supply concentrated in China, Bleiberg stands
out as one of very few brownfield germanium opportunities within Europe. The Company's
CEO, Sebastian Kneer, undertook a site visit to Bleiberg during the Quarter. The visit included
an on-ground review of the project geology, an assessment of site access and local
infrastructure, and meetings with local stakeholders to discuss the Company's plans for
Bleiberg. Engagement was constructive, and the visit strengthened the Company's
understanding of operating conditions in the region and its relationships on the ground.

Germanium Technical Evaluation and Processing Studies
The Company completed its Exclusive Patent and Know-How Licence Agreement with
NTUitive Pte Ltd, the innovation and enterprise company of Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore, covering NTUitive's portfolio of germanium-related technologies. Execution of the
commercial licence follows the Company's evaluation licence arrangement with NTU
Singapore (refer announcement 9 March 2026).
The licence supports Battery Age's integrated germanium strategy, which spans exploration at
its Bleiberg (Austria) and Apex (Utah, USA) projects together with a downstream specification
and processing pathways workstream. Battery Age's approach targets two linked technical
areas: downstream specification context, to better understand product parameters and
qualification requirements relevant to end users of germanium in semiconductor and
optoelectronic applications; and upstream processing optionality, assessing pathways
intended to reduce chemical intensity and energy input while improving consistency and
responsible sourcing outcomes. This work is intended to ensure resource development
decisions across the Company's germanium projects are informed by long-term end-market
and supply-chain considerations.
Beyond its established roles in infrared optics and fibre-optic dopants, germanium is
increasingly recognised as an enabling material for next-generation optical interconnects, as
AI data centres reach the physical limits of copper wiring for high-speed, short-distance data
transmission. This represents one of a number of rapidly emerging application areas for
germanium, alongside advanced semiconductor and photonic technologies more broadly.
Following the exclusive global licensing of the technology, Battery Age will look to advance its
germanium technology portfolio to address the growing photonics market, a segment
considered critical to the cloud computing and data centre industries as global computing
demand continues to scale.
This work is intended to complement the Company's upstream mineral projects as part of its
broader integrated germanium strategy.
6
U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium Membership
Battery Age was accepted as a member of the U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium
(“DIBC”), a U.S. Government-supported consortium administered by Advanced Technology
International on behalf of the U.S. Department of War (“DOW”). The DIBC operates under the
DOW's Other Transaction Authority, a flexible contracting mechanism designed to accelerate
engagement between the Department and non-traditional defence suppliers, including
resource developers.
The membership reflects the strategic relevance of the Company's germanium-focused
exploration and technology portfolio, opening a direct channel to engage with DOW-sponsored
critical minerals programs and defence supply chain initiatives including U.S. defence and
advanced-technology supply chains, in which germanium underpins infrared optics, fibre-optic
communications, satellite solar cells and next-generation silicon-germanium semiconductors.
China controls approximately 70% of global refined germanium production and has
progressively tightened export licensing since 2023; the United States currently has no primary
domestic germanium production. Through DIBC membership, Battery Age intends to engage
with Department program offices on germanium-specific supply chain requirements and
capability gaps, and to consider targeted proposals into DIBC solicitations and related funding
programs.
University of Sydney Collaboration
During the Quarter, the Company continued technical work in collaboration with the University
of Sydney’s School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, focused on the assessment of
advanced germanium recovery techniques.
The program is evaluating electromagnetic‑based processing methods for germanium
extraction, with the objective of improving understanding of recovery behaviour and process
responses relevant to germanium‑bearing materials. Work undertaken during the Quarter
remained at a technical evaluation stage and focused on laboratory‑scale assessment of
processing concepts.
This research activity complements the Company’s broader germanium‑focused technical
work and ongoing exploration programs by supporting improved understanding of potential
processing pathways applicable to germanium mineralisation at the Bleiberg Zinc–Lead–
Germanium Project and the Apex Germanium–Gallium Project, in addition to recovery of Ge
from e-waste.
El Aguila Gold-Silver Project (Santa Cruz, Argentina)
No new exploration activities were conducted during the Quarter. The El Aguila Project is
currently being reviewed in-house, with the Company integrating geological, geochemical and
geophysical data to refine interpretation of the broader mineralised corridor and prioritise
areas for follow-up exploration.

Business Development
Looking ahead, the Company intends to continue evaluating business development
opportunities aligned with its strategy and complementary to its existing asset base. In addition
to its focus on germanium‑related initiatives, the Company is reviewing projects across a
broader range of commodities and jurisdictions, including under‑explored or overlooked
regions that may offer potential for the discovery of large‑scale, high‑quality mineral resources.
These reviews are expected to focus on geological prospectivity, technical merit and
jurisdictional factors, with the objective of identifying opportunities that could enhance portfolio
quality and long‑term value creation. All such opportunities will remain subject to further
technical, commercial and strategic assessment. There is no certainty that these
forward‑looking reviews or discussions will result in the acquisition of any additional projects
or assets.
