Caribou Lake–O'Sullivan Greenstone Belt.
Battery Age Minerals Ltd (ASX: BM8, “Battery Age” or “the Company”) presents its
Quarterly Activities Report for the three-month period ended 30 September 2026 (“Quarter”),
summarising exploration, technical, financial and corporate activities undertaken across the
Company’s project portfolio in Austria, Argentina, the United States and Canada and progress
of its integrated germanium initiatives to build exposure to a secure, Western-aligned supply
of germanium, a critical material used across advanced technology supply chains.

Project Activities
Bleiberg Zinc-Lead-Germanium Project (Carinthia, Austria)
During the Quarter, the Company progressed its drilling permit applications with the Austrian
mining authority for deep drill holes targeting potential strike extensions of mineralisation
immediately west of the historic Bleiberg operation (Bleiberg West Target). Subsequent to
Quarter end, the applications were considered at oral hearings held by the authority on 12
October 2026, attended by the authority’s official expert assessors. The Company is awaiting
the authority’s formal decision on the applications. The historical Bleiberg mine produced
approximately 172 tonnes of germanium over its operating life, ranking it as the world's sixth-
largest germanium producer at the time of its closure in 19931
. With germanium designated a
critical raw material by the European Union and refined supply concentrated in China, Bleiberg
stands out as one of very few brownfield germanium opportunities within Europe.

Apex Germanium-Gallium Project (Utah, USA)
The Apex Germanium-Gallium Project comprises 186 unpatented lode mining claims
(approximately 3,728 acres / 15.09 km²) in Washington County, south-western Utah,
surrounding the historic Apex Mine, which operated in the 1980s as the first mine in the world
developed primarily for germanium and gallium. Mineralisation at the Apex Mine is hosted in
brecciated and oxidised dolomite along structural zones, and the Company’s claims cover the
interpreted extensions of that setting along strike and across the adjoining structures. Apex
forms the North American upstream component of the Company’s germanium strategy,
alongside Bleiberg in Austria.
Figure 3: Location of the Apex claim blocks.
ASX Announcement
Released 30 October 2026 4
During the Quarter, the Company undertook initial field work at Apex, comprising geological
mapping and field checking of the priority targets defined by the satellite remote sensing and
structural interpretation study completed in the prior Quarter (refer announcement 22 June
2026). Initial field observations did not confirm the remote sensing anomalies on the ground.
NTUitive Germanium Technology Licence
The Company continued work under its Exclusive Patent and Know-How Licence Agreement
with NTUitive Pte Ltd, the innovation and enterprise company of Nanyang Technological
University, Singapore, covering a portfolio of germanium-related technologies.
The licence supports Battery Age’s integrated germanium strategy, which links exploration at
its Bleiberg (Austria) and Apex (Utah, USA) projects with a downstream workstream focused
on two areas:
• End-market specification: understanding the product parameters and qualification
requirements of germanium end users in semiconductor and optoelectronic
applications; and
• Processing optionality: assessing pathways that reduce chemical and energy
intensity while improving consistency and responsible sourcing outcomes.
Figure 4: Evaluation program across materials, device and platform levels
A key focus of the end-market work is optical interconnects. As AI data centres scale, copper
wiring is approaching its practical limits for high-speed, short-distance data transmission, and
the industry is increasingly moving to light-based connections. Germanium is used in the
photodetectors and modulators at the core of silicon photonics, which positions it as an
enabling material for this transition. This sits alongside germanium’s established roles in
infrared optics and fibre-optic dopants.
Building on this focus, the Company is progressing a Research Collaboration Agreement to
advance germanium-based optical interconnect technologies.
ASX Announcement
Released 30 October 2026 5
University of Sydney Collaboration
During the Quarter, the Company's laboratory-scale consulting program with the University of
Sydney's School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, which is assessing advanced
germanium recovery techniques from mineral concentrates and electronic waste, continued to
progress and is nearing completion. The Company is working through a proposed licensing
agreement with the University.
Together, the NTUitive technology licence and the University of Sydney program are intended
to ensure that development decisions across the Company’s germanium projects reflect both
end-market requirements and practical recovery pathways.
Falcon Lake Lithium Project (Ontario, Canada)
During the Quarter, the Company staked an additional 46 single cell mining claims
(approximately 9 km²) at the Falcon Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada (refer
announcement 22 July 2026). The new claims extend the Company's landholding by
approximately 7 km along strike to the east over prospective metavolcanic stratigraphy,
increasing the contiguous Project area to approximately 60 km² within the Caribou Lake–
O'Sullivan Greenstone Belt, host to the Falcon Lake spodumene pegmatites.
Figure 5: Location of the Falcon Lake Project, including the newly staked claims (yellow).
The expanded landholding builds on previously reported results from the Company's 2024
winter diamond drilling program, including
• 54.1m @ 1.74% Li₂O from 100.85m (24FL-107),

intervals are down-hole lengths, true widths not known). Multi-element assays from the Project
have also returned elevated rubidium, caesium, tantalum and gallium (refer announcement 14
August 2025).
Additionally, the Company undertook a desktop review of the Falcon Lake Project, integrating
existing geological, geophysical and geochemical datasets across the expanded landholding
to refine and prioritise targets for follow-up field exploration. The Company conducted limited
