LCT Pegmatites

Region with proven
mineral resources

The Jessie Lake Project comprises 54 single cell mining claims, covering an area of approximately 1,350 hectares, in Ontario, Canada. The project area is strategically situated south of the Forgan Lake Lithium Occurrence and is in close proximity to the Georgia Lake pegmatite field.

Scope of work

Battery Age aims to leverage this prospective ground to expand its land holding in Ontario and diversify its presence in a region known for its proven mineral resources, including Rock Tech Lithium Georgia Lake project, whom has a minerals resource of 10.Mt @.88% Li2O (Indicated) and 4.2Mt @1% Li2O (Inferred)1.

The acquisition of this greenfields project forms part of Battery Age Minerals overall strategic growth plans in the Ontario region, with the aim of capitalising on the strong support for critical minerals within the supply chain.

“The staking of additional LCT prospective ground expands our footprint in Ontario, where Battery Age is focused on becoming a key contributor to the heavily supported critical minerals supply chain. We are excited about exploring the property and uncovering its potential later in the summer.”

Gerard O’Donovan, Chief Executive Officer, Battery Age Minerals

Jessie Lake Lithium Project

Staked in 2023, the Jesse Lake Project holds potential for Lithium-Cesium-Tantalum (LCT) pegmatites and is host to extensive metasedimentary units of the Quetico Subprovince, the same bedrock that host the Georgia Lake and Forgan Lake LCT pegmatites.

Ultra Lithium Site

Historical work on the property was first carried out by Lun-Echo Gold Mines Limited between 1955-61. Exploration work included 39 drill holes, aggregating 10,561 feet (3,219 metres) on the eastern side of Forgan Lake. Lithium mineralization on the Property is comprised of six spodumene-bearing pegmatites (Number 1 to 6 Pegmatites as described in the Ontario Department of Mines Geological Report No. 31). Some of these Pegmatites continue onto the Lucky Lake claim block.

Imagine Lithium Site

The Jackpot Lithium property, located in the Georgia Lake Area about 140 km NNE of Thunder Bay, Ontario, is situated approximately 14 km by road from the TransCanada Highway (Hwy 11) and approximately 50 km from the town of Nipigon, on Lake Superior. The property contains two historical resources. The Main Jackpot Zone was reported to contain 2Mt @ 1.09 Li2O as estimated in 1956 by Ontario Lithium Company Limited*. The Vegan/Newkirk showing was reported to contain 750,000 tons grading 1.38% Li2O in 1956 by Vegan Lithium Mines Ltd.

Rock Tech Site

Rock Tech is expanding its exploration potential in the Thunder Bay Mining District by entering into an option agreement to acquire a 100% undivided interest in the Boston Lake Claims. Adding to the company’s Georgia Lake Project, these claims will expand Rock Tech’s footprint in a region that is already historically well-studied and is well known to the company.
